Installation & preparation
Use the motorcycle service manual to identify the correct intake or exhaust seal and installation sequence. Inspect stems and guides for wear; new seals do not correct excessive guide clearance. Protect the sealing lip from keeper grooves, lubricate as specified and install squarely with the correct driver. Keep both springs seated and check the completed assembly before starting the engine.
