Material & construction
TEADIT NA-1005 fiber material is used for the magneto cover gasket (VICTECH 6102), as confirmed by APJ Motorsports.
These TEADIT specifications apply to the sheet material of this gasket.
TEADIT describes NA-1005 as a compressed non-asbestos sheet combining aramid and other synthetic fibers with a nitrile rubber (NBR) binder, suitable for applications involving petroleum derivatives and oils.
TEADIT sheet-material technical data
| Continuous / peak temperature | 240 °C / 400 °C |
|---|---|
| Continuous / peak pressure | 50 bar / 110 bar |
These are sheet-material reference values, not operating ratings for the engine or complete gasket set. Suitability depends on service conditions; maximum pressure and temperature must not be assumed to apply simultaneously.
